Expatica Communications B.V. is an international media company founded in 2000 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What started as website providing news and information for the international community in the Netherlands rapidly grew into a much broader resource. Within a few years Expatica expanded to include Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. Expatica Luxembourg was launched in January 2010.

Expatica.com receives an average of half a million visitors every month.

Expatica also organises conferences to keep HR professionals in tune with the latest regulations governing cross-border employment and best practices in expatriate management.

“i am not a tourist” Expat Fairs
Expatica Communications B.V. hosts annual “i am not a tourist” Expat Fairs to support internationals living in or moving to a new country. These one-day fairs give them the opportunity to get information, meet with expat-oriented service providers, and network with thousands of like-minded internationals. Expatica has successfully organised this event in Amsterdam, Brussels, Madrid and Paris.

At the end of 2008, Expatica launched a new look and feel with a slimmed down menu and optimal search function. We continue to work on developing and improving our website and services to fulfil the needs and expectations of our international users.
