About Expatica

Expatica Communications B.V. is an international media company founded in 2000 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What started as website providing news and information for the international community in the Netherlands rapidly grew into a much broader resource. Expatica.com receives an average of half a million visitors every month.

Our goal is to provide high quality content and services to all countries across Europe and beyond.

The Expat Survival Guide
Expatica.com provides essential information to help internationals settle into their new country of residence: how to find a job or housing, information on the local health and education systems, how to start a business or deal with pension plans in your adopted country.

Annually, Expatica produces a Survival Guide for specific countries to give internationals on the ground the best of the site in a comprehensive and easy-to-use format.

The channels keep you up to date with the latest news, trends and best practices in mobility management, and include features on tax and finance across borders, expatriate support, relocation and the international job marketplace. Expatica also organises conferences to keep HR professionals in tune with the latest regulations governing cross-border employment and best practices in expatriate management.

“i am not a tourist” Expat Fairs
Expatica Communications B.V. hosts annual “i am not a tourist” Expat Fairs to support internationals living in or moving to a new country. These one-day fairs give them the opportunity to get information, meet with expat-oriented service providers, and network with thousands of like-minded internationals. Expatica has successfully organised this event in Amsterdam, Brussels, Madrid and Paris.

At the end of 2008, Expatica launched a new look and feel with a slimmed down menu and optimal search function. We continue to work on developing and improving our website and services to fulfil the needs and expectations of our international users.

If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, or would like to provide feedback, please email us at feedback@expatica.com. We welcome your thoughts.
