Apply for resources
APNIC is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for the Asia Pacific region. RIRs are responsible for distributing and registering numeric Internet address resources; namely, IPv4 and IPv6, AS numbers, and reverse DNS delegations.
Please note of the following when you lodge your resource applications:
- Evaluations for all resource applications are based on current and provisionally-active policies.
- IP address space is not reserved during the application process.
- Organizations may only receive Internet resources when their APNIC accounts are "Open".

You will receive an email with a tracking number to confirm your application. Please quote this number and account name if you need to contact APNIC for any inquiries. Note: Organizations may only receive Internet resources once they meet the policy criteria.

Fee and tier information |
APNIC membership is available in seven tiers: Associate, Very small, Small, Medium, Large, Very large, and Extra large. As a new Member you may choose to start from the Associate Member tier. However, you can choose to start from a higher level tier. |
Provide contacts |
All assignments and allocations are registered in the APNIC Whois Database, so it is necessary to provide accurate contact details to assist in Internet troubleshooting at all levels. The registration of resources also ensures that every assignment and allocation of address space is guaranteed as globally unique. |
