- The Congressional Research Service (CRS), the research arm of Congress, prepares reports (usually under 20 pages long) on topics of interest to member of Congress. Search these CRS Reports CU through LexisNexis. Use terms like "homeland security" or "terrorism."
- Department of Homeland Security is charged with "coordinating national strategy to strengthen protections against terrorist threats or attacks in the United States." This site provides information on the four divisions (Border and Transportation Security, Infrastructure Protection, Emergency Preparedness, and Response and Bioterrorism Countermeasures) as well as speeches, white papers, and related supporting materials.
